Mr Abdoulaye OUEDDO, Consultant Energy Information System and Database, African Energy Commission (AFREC)
Mr Abdoulaye OUEDDO holds a Computer Science and Geographical Information Systems Diploma and Diploma in Computer Engineering from the Higher Institute of Management Informatics in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. He has an extended experience in the energy policies, data analyses and Energy Information system.
Since 2012 Mr Oueddo has been working as Consultant Energy Information System and Database for the African Energy Commission (AFREC). In this capacity, he has supervised the setting up of the African Energy Efficiency, African Renewable Energy and African Energy Infrastructure Databases. His role also includes managing the activities of the National Focal Points in the AFREC Member States.
Previously Mr Oueddo worked four years at the CEMAC setting up interconnection projects of the CEMAC countries (notably the interconnection Chad – Cameroon), while also contributing to the construction of peri-urban electrical connections in the capitals of Gabon, Congo, Central African Republic, Cameroon and Chad.
